Snow in March isn't welcome in my book thank you very much! Apparantly this March is the coldest since 1962 here in the UK and I totally believe it! I that hope any couple that tied the knot today didn't have to stand around for photographs in the cold for too long!!!!
It's a total contrast to a wedding that I went to just three weeks ago today ; the sun was out and it was warm enough for short sleeves!
Anyway spring is officially supposed to be here and I've been working on spring inspired ring pillows for my Etsy shop, if the weather wants to be awkward then I can pretend for a bit but not for too long.........
Roll on summer!

Catch Up
Hello again, things have been pretty busy around here, hence the absence of posts. Hats have been made and sold without a chance of getting pics to show because I've been so close to the deadline I didn't even have time to wait for the camera battery to charge!
I have also been helping out at my friend's bridal studio which has been fun, it's hard work but hardly a chore because I love working with Corinne, it can get lonely here sometimes. We also bounce ideas off of each other so the creative juice is definitely flowing! It's also great to see the brides faces when they come for their final dress fitting, priceless!
So I'm there again today and am going to help her set up an Etsy shop to sell her bridal accessories, well a little competition never did any harm! I remember when I first joined Etsy I had zero computer skills and kind of stumbled around learning from all my mistakes! I listed two hats and got an immediate response which I didn't really expect, firstly I hadn't thought the whole thing through properly! I couldn't access my paypal account because I'd forgotten the password for my email so I had wait to accept the cash for those first sales, anyway I'll hopefully steer Corinne away from any such debacles!

Hello and welcome to the on-line journal about my life and love of hats and accessories.
I will try where possible to post every day about something that catches my eye but today I'm busy working on a hat that needs lining!
